Vegas cab driver finds, returns laptop case with $220k

LAS VEGAS, N.V. (WHDH) -- A Las Vegas cab driver received praise for turning in a lost laptop case.

The case contained nearly a quarter of a million dollars in cash.

Adam Woldemariam found the case, and more than $220,000, in the back of his van last month.

He said he immediately knew he couldn't keep the money.

"I opened the case I looked it was money I was surprised I immediately go to the office,” said cab driver Adam Woldemarian.

When asked if he thought of keeping the money, Woldemarian responded, "Never. I can't do that. That's not my money."

The owner gave Adam two thousand dollars as a reward.

He used the money to help his family back in Ethiopia.
