Bears take up residence outside MT hotel
MISSOULA, MT (WHDH) -- Some unusual guests were discovered Thursday at a Montana hotel.
A momma bear and her two cubs took up residence in a tree outside this hotel in Missoula.
Animal control was called in to tranquilize the three so they could be removed from their high perch.
Concerned about the animals and their safety, hotel workers and guests rounded up dozens of pillows and placed them on the ground so mom and her cubs would not be hurt in the fall.
Fortunately the bears did make a safe landing.
Once on the ground, the sedated bears were caged before being taken outside of town and returned to the wild.
