View of Hurricane Sandy from space

BOSTON (WHDH) -- Another view of sandy, from high above earth.
The International Space Station got better than a bird’s eye view of the storm, and at almost 1000 miles wide, Hurricane Sandy's system covers a space 1.5 times the size of Texas.
Hurricane Sandy broke the record Hurricane Igor set in 2010 with a gale diameter of 920 miles.
The International Space Station is 260 miles above sandy, and a Massachusetts native, Sunita Williams is up there commanding the latest mission.
