Teen credited with saving mom's life
UNDATED (NBC) -- A 13-year-old Cape Coral boy is credited with saving his mom's life.
Bridgette Graham was driving down Pine Island road with her son hunter when she began having chest pains.
She pulled over and told the 7th grader to call his father, but he sdidn't listen and called 911 instead.
Emergency crews rushed his mother to the hospital, where her heart stopped beating, but they were able to revive her.
Hunter says he knew his mom was having a heart attack because he learned the symptoms in his middle school health class.
"Mr. Montag taught me what the symptoms of a heart attack were and when she said that she had pain in her chest and it was shooting through her arms, I knew the signs," he said.
Doctors told Bridgette if hunter hadn't called 911 when he did, she likely wouldn't have made it.
