New Zealand dog handlers teach dogs to drive

AUKLAND, New Zealand (WHDH) -- Dog handlers in New Zealand training dogs how to drive cars.

Three dogs have spent weeks training how to change gear, brake and steer. The dogs are being allowed behind the wheel of a real car.

With a little help from their handlers, the dogs are able to put the car in gear and start driving.

The dogs were trained by a local animal rescue charity.
