Marist poll ranks most annoying words

UNDATED (WHDH) -- A few words about the most annoying words in the English language.

In its annual survey, the Marist poll ranked these as the top five:

1. Whatever
2. Like
3. You know
4. Just saying
5. Twitterverse 

For the fourth year in a row, "whatever" ranked as the most annoying word in conversation.
