Giant rubber duck floats in Sydney harbor

SYDNEY, Australia (WHDH) -- Sydney harbor looked like a big bath tub Thursday morning, when a giant rubber duck was turned loose in the famous waters.

The 50 foot high duck will be used Saturday at the launch of city's annual summer festival

Thursdays dip in the harbor was all part of a rehearsal.

It’s one of several massive ducks designed by a Dutch artist.

After the Sydney festival opens on Saturday, the giant duck will remain the harbor, until the festival ends on January 23rd.
