Wildlife filmmaker comes face to face with polar bear

UNDATED (WHDH) -- A wildlife filmmaker came face to face with a polar bear -- that almost ate him for lunch!

He was in a protective ice cube while shooting footage for a T.V. series when the bear came right up to him and tried to break it open.

The eight-foot predator was persistent, trying for 40 minutes.

The adult female bear was hunting for food to feed her cubs.
