Video of lion trying to eat boy goes viral

PORTLAND, Ore. (WHDH) -- A new viral video shows a lion at the Oregon Zoo trying desperately to get its paws on a little boy sitting just on the other side of a piece of protective glass.

“Some people were like, oh my gosh move him out of there, but he wasn't scared,” the boy’s mother, Heather Baltzor, said. “If he was scared I would have picked him up.”

“We didn't notice he looked like a zebra until someone told us that on Facebook. He looked like a tasty baby zebra,” she said.”

Zoo workers say there was no cause for alarm; lions often interact with young visitors. In fact, there was another video of the same thing happening at a Colorado zoo last year.

Just like the other lion, this female seemed eager to get her paws on that cute little kid.
