Nanny cam shows Fla. babysitter abusing child

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It's a parent's worst nightmare.

The woman a Florida couple paid to care for their baby was caught on video allegedly abusing the child.

The babysitter is behind bars, her husband and neighbors stunned by the accusations.

is being held on 75-thousand dollars bond.

Babysitter Jeannine Campbell was caught on camera swatting, kicking, and throwing things at the 11-month-old baby.

At one point, she is seen throwing some type of towel at the child, then slaps him on the back of the head so hard that he falls over.

A police report said she swatted at the child 11 times.

Perhaps more upsetting, the boy's father said he never believed Campbell could ever be accused of doing anything so disturbing.

He said Campbell was referred to the family through friends and even lists her primary employer as a local church.
