New busty Barbie doll causes controversy

UNDATED -- A new Barbie doll on shelves could be a total "bust."

The new doll in the Barbie Basic collection is causing quite a stir with parents. The doll is featured as busty and wearing a very low cut dress.

Some parents are saying the new Barbie is giving young children the wrong idea.

"I doubt my daughter's going to have it and I don't want her to think that she has to be this busty Barbie, constantly wearing these heels and these low cut shirts and that's really the image that for a doll that you're going to buy for a child is going to portray," said Andi, a parent.

So far, Mattel has not said anything about the controversy.
