Light fixture crashes down on high school wrestler

UNDATED (WHDH) -- A shocking accident was caught on camera in a South Dakota high school.

On Friday, a giant light fixture came crashing down on a high school wrestler at during a tournament.

Senior Michael Mccormish was preparing for a re-start when the fixture fell from the ceiling.

The wrestler later tweeted that he was fine.

Mccormish also posted a photo showing the damage along with his update.

He said the injuries he suffered from the crash only caused minor cosmetic damage

The bout was called off.

The school was having the lighting system checked for safety.
