Columbia professor strips down during lecture

NEW YORK (WHDH) -- Some are questioning a Columbia professor for a racy lecture he gave this week, where he ended up stripping down to his underwear!

The professor ripped off his pants during a lesson on quantum mechanics Monday.

He later put on a ninja costume and stabbed stuffed animals.

He says the lesson shows students must think in a different way to learn quantum mechanics.

Some students were shocked by the display.

“Everybody is going to have a different opinion on that and I think it's a form of expression."

Administrators at Columbia have not said if they will discipline the professor.
