Man on mission to meet all 788 of his Facebook friends

UNDATED (WHDH) -- You may have a lot of Facebook friends, but do you really know all of them?

A photographer from Connecticut is giving new meaning to friend request. He's made it a mission to personally meet every single one of his 788 Facebook friends.

The process, he estimates, will take about three years.

To finance the project he created a trailer to run on a fundraising web site, offering various levels of rewards for investors.

"I put my movie trailer up on kick starter and people have spread my idea over the internet and if they like it they throw me some money."

His original goal was to raise $5,000, but he's already up to $6,751 with 14 days left to go.

So far Morin has photographed about 15 friends and while doing that decided to turn the whole project into a documentary.

"I want to make it a solid relationship with all 788 of them. It's going to be quite a quest but I think - I'm setting out to reconnect with people," Morin said.

And by the response so far, it would appear that the whole concept is well off the launching pad.
