Family's iPad stolen during TSA security screening
PHILADELPHIA (WHDH) -- A Pennsylvania woman is outraged after her iPad was stolen when a TSA agent separated her from her belongings, giving the thief an opportunity to strike.
Police said a fast food employee at the airport stole the DiPasqua family’s iPad out of their bin at the security checkpoint at the Philadelphia International Airport.
Detectives recovered the iPad and arrested the worker, whose home address matched the location of the device.
Beth DiPasqua is concerned by what happened at security. She claims a TSA worker made the family move to another line, away from their bin, which gave the opportunity for the thief to grab the unattended iPad.
