Man scores big playing the New York lottery

NEW YORK (NBC) -- A local man scores big playing the New York lottery.

David Fortune, 53, of West Chazy, won five million dollars playing the scratch off game $5,000,000 cash!

Lottery officials presented Fortune with a check on Friday at the very place he bought the ticket a few weeks earlier, Kinney Drugs on Boynton Avenue in Plattsburgh.

Fortune plans to buy a new car and donate to charities with his new found wealth.
