Pilot expected to be OK after Everglades crash

WEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A pilot is in the hospital, recovering after an ultralight plane went down in the Everglades Saturday.
The plane crashed into a canal on Tamiami Trail in west Miami-Dade.
Two people were on board at the time.
The conductor of an Airboat tour jumped into the water to save the pilot and passenger.
Rescue crews airlifted the pilot to a nearby hospital.
He suffered broken ribs, but is expected to be OK.
