Police officer saves a woman from serious injury

LUBBOCK, Texas (WHDH) -- In Texas, a police officer saved a woman from serious injury, when a car collided with a cruiser.

The dramatic video shows the officer pushing the woman out of the way just before the van crashes into his patrol car.

The driver of that van has been charged with drunk driving and speeding.

The officer suffered serious injuries but is out of the hospital.
