The collision forced the closure of the intersection of Taft Street and North Park Street, late Monday afternoon.
Police said the accident occurred after the driver of a blue Chevy Impala, who was the suspect in a purse snatching, tried to elude capture.
Hollywood Police spotted the vehicle on I-95 near Johnson Street after a B.O.L.O was reported for the vehicle. Once in pursuit, the driver of the Chevy Impala crashed into a van, leading to the chain-reaction accident.
