Teen survives 45-foot fall from ski lift

SANTE FE, N.M. (WHDH) -- A teen fell 45-feet from a ski lift chair in New Mexico.
The boy was attempting to throw a snowball at friends when he slipped and was left dangling from the bottom of the lift. Eventually he lost his grip and fell 45-feet down to the snow-covered mountain.
His friend shot video of the event and said the boy didn’t have the safety bar down.
The teen suffered a concussion, a skull fracture and a collapse lung as a result of the fall.
