Wash. man goes on alleged bulldozer rampage
SEATTLE (WHDH) -- A Washington state man went on a rampage with a bulldozer allegedly trying to damage or destroy three different houses.
A mobile home was pushed off its foundation and into the house next door, while another home was also damaged and a pickup truck nearly flattened after the bulldozer rampage.
The suspect, 51-year-old Barry Swegle, was angry with neighbors over fences and new construction, according to Clallam County Sheriff’s spokesman.
They said one of the mobile homes was just completed when Swegle drove the bulldozer over to the property and pushed it over. Officials said Swegle then moved on to another house, aiming for a room where a neighbor had been sleeping just minutes before.
Swegle has had several run-ins with the law, including convictions for drug possession.
