WASHINGTON (WHDH) -- First Lady Michelle Obama’s new official White House portrait was revealed Wednesday.
The new photo, taken by Chuck Kennedy, uses a green wall as a back drop, highlighting the latest addition to her bob - her bangs.
Compared to the image of her in 2009, the 2013 portrait is warmer. Unlike her 2009 portrait, a full-length shot of her standing by a table, the latest portrait is more intimate, showing only her upper body and face.
Though hair, clothes and pose are different - she wears a necklace of pearls in both photos.
