Woman spills yogurt on Obama outside a Colo. restaurant

UNDATED (WHDH) -- A college student spilled yogurt on President Barack Obama while he was greeting fans in Colorado.

“You’ve got a good story to tell. You can say, ‘Well, I just spilled yogurt all over the President and Secret Service,” President Obama said to the woman.

The college freshman shared the story on the Today Show, recounting how her yogurt was in the wrong place at the wrong time when President Obama left a restaurant in Boulder, Colorado.

Kolbi Zerbest spilled the yogurt on President.

"As soon as he comes towards us a little more, paparazzi come rushing behind us and right as I’m shaking his hand the paparazzi kicks the bowl that I placed on the ground onto the President,” Zerbest said.

The President and his Secret Service detail had to find napkins to wipe up the dairy disaster.

“It wasn’t' a lot. Honestly more got on me, the ground, and the Secret Service,” said Zerbest.

But it gave her a rare 30-second one-on-one with the Commander in Chief, right before her sorority initiation, leading some to wonder if it was a planned prank.

“It was a huge coincidence that this happened the same day that I had my initiation but all in all I’d say it was a pretty eventful and pretty memorable day for me,” Zerbest said.
