US Sen. Brown airing ads featuring wife Gail Huff

BOSTON (AP) -- Republican U.S. Sen. Scott Brown is releasing two new television ads featuring his wife, television reporter Gail Huff.

In one, Huff talks about how Brown helped raised the couple's two daughters while she pursued a job as a reporter in Boston. In the other, Huff talks about how Brown encouraged her to pursue the job, which made her a familiar face to Boston-area viewers.

Huff, who now works in the Washington market, is playing a more public role in Brown's re-election campaign.

Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren also released a new television ad Monday.

In the ad, Warren faults Washington politicians for handing out billions of dollars to oil companies while failing to act to avoid cuts to student loans and Medicare.

Recent polls show the race is a dead heat.
