Obama comes to Boston, Romney to Utah
BOSTON, Mass. (WHDH) -- President Obama is bound for Boston Monday.
The president will start his two-day visit to Massachusetts, with several campaign fundraisers, including one in Symphony hall. During the 2008 Presidential Election, President Obama won the state of Massachusetts. The president will be arriving after a campaign stop in New Hampshire.
Meanwhile in Utah, republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney is meeting for a retreat with party fundraisers. Possible running-mates are on the guest-list, including Ohio senator, Rob Portman, and Congressman Paul Ryan, and former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty will be there as well. Pawlenty has said he's told Mitt Romney's presidential campaign to look elsewhere for a running mate.
The Bay State has proven to be a lucrative spot for presidential fundraisers. So far, Mitt Romney, the former governor has collected nearly $5million and President Obama has raised more than $7.7 million.
