NH Gov.-elect Hassan to greet voters

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) -- New Hampshire Gov.-elect Maggie Hassan is greeting people at a Manchester diner this afternoon.

Hassan is planning a noon appearance Wednesday at the Red Arrow Diner to thank people for their support and discuss the importance of coming together to move New Hampshire forward.

Hassan, a Democrat, defeated Republican Ovide Lamontagne to succeed Democratic Gov. John Lynch, who is stepping down after eight years in office.
