U.S. House District 9 Election: Christopher Sheldon
Christopher Sheldon is a Republican candidate for Massachusetts' 9th congressional district.
Christopher Sheldon was born in Springfield on May 25, 1978. He was raised in Andover and currently resides in South Plymouth.
Sheldon is the older of two boys. His parents, David and Diane have been married for 35 years and still reside at the family home in Andover where they’ve lived since Sheldon was eight years old.
Growing up, Sheldon was active in several activities. At 14 he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He was also active on his high school and local YMCA swim teams and was a member of the marching band. In college, he competed as an NCAA Division 1 athlete in 1M and 3M Springboard Diving.
He graduated from Syracuse University in 3 years with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy and Economics.
Immediately following graduation, Chris took a position with New York City based Worldco Financial Services.
In 2006, Chris left the business world to pursue a Master of Business Administrations from the University of Florida.
Christopher currently utilizes the skills he amassed in graduate school, as well as in the financial services and consumer goods industries, to consult for small, medium and Fortune 500 corporations from his home in Plymouth.
Sheldon received an MBA in Marketing, Finance and Competitive Strategy from the University of Florida.
For the past decade he has volunteered as a high school swimming and diving couch.
He is a member of the Plymouth County Charter Study Commission and a friend of the Plymouth Council on Aging and member of Plimoth Plantation.
