U.S. House District 4 Election: Joe Kennedy III

Joseph Kennedy III is a candidate for the United States House of Representatives in Massachusetts 4th district.
Joseph Kennedy III is running for Congress in the Massachusetts 4th Congressional District, the seat currently held by retiring Democrat Barney Frank.
Kennedy was born Feb. 16, 2012 to parents former Congressman Joseph Patrick Kennedy II and Sheila Brewster. His grandfather is the late Robert F Kennedy, a former Democratic senator. Kennedy has a twin brother Matthew Rauch.
He attended Buckingham Browne and Nichols in Cambridge. Kennedy graduated from Stanford University where he studied science and engineering and was a co-captain of the men’s lacrosse team. He went on to attend Harvard Law School where he worked for the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau.
He was a former Assistant District Attorney for Middlesex County and member of the Peace Corps. Kennedy announced in January 2012 that he would run for Barney Frank’s seat. Kennedy has said if elected, he will fight for a fair job plan and a better educational system among other things.
He currently resides in Brookline.
