U.S. House District 4 Dem. Primary: Herb Robinson

Herb Robinson is a candidate for the United States House of Representatives in Massachusetts 4th district.

Herb Robinson is running for Congress in the Massachusetts 4th Congressional District, the seat currently held by retiring Democrat Barney Frank.

Herb Robinson grew up in the upstate farming town of Pine Plains, New York. He played football, wrestled, and ran track in high school. Robinson graduated from Cornell University in 1974 with a BSEE. He went on to work for various companies such as Transition in Wakefield, Incoterm in Wellesley, and Honeywell Information Systems.

He currently works for Stratus Technologies and resides in Newton. Although Robinson does not have a political backyard, he says many issues have driven him to run from Congress, some of them being Congress' inability to stop the Iraq war and switch to Green energy.

Robinson calls himself a “liberal populist.”
