McGovern easily wins Dem primary in 2nd District

BOSTON (AP) -- Incumbent Democratic U.S. Rep. James McGovern of Worcester has easily won a Democratic primary in the 2nd Congressional District.

He beat challenger William Feegbeh, a former substitute teacher.

McGovern is a virtual lock to win re-election in November because there is no Republican on the ballot. Unofficial results showed him with about 90 percent of the vote.
