Senator Scott Brown receives big endorsement

BOSTON (WHDH) -- Senator Scott Brown received a boost from a big name Republican on Saturday.
Senator John McCain released a video announcing his endorsement for the candidate and why he thinks Brown deserves another term.
"Scott understands the challenges we face and he has the experience, wisdom, and temperament to influence the choices our nation makes. We need Scott Brown in the senate, and I hope you will join me in doing everything we can to help him stay there."
In the message, McCain also praised Senator Brown's 32 years of service in the National Guard.
Democratic challenger, Elizabeth Warren, was on the campaign trail today. She hosted a rally at Boston University this morning. Both Gov. Deval Patrick and Congressman Mike Capuano were guest speakers at the event.
In her speech to supporters, Warren spoke about the way senator brown has voted on major issues in the past.
"Scott Brown isn't a bad guy. He takes some good votes. But when it gets tough, when it comes down to the big votes that matter to working people across the commonwealth of Massachusetts, too often Scott Brown has been on the side of the millionaires and billionaires, not on the side of the working people."
The two senate candidates will face off in the first of four debates this Thursday.
