Mass. Sen. hopefuls trade charges as race heats up

BOSTON (AP) -- Staff members for GOP U.S. Sen. Scott Brown and the Massachusetts Republican Party are seen shouting war whoops and performing tomahawk chops in a new video in an apparent reference to Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren's claims of Native American heritage.
The video surfaced the same day that published reports outlined legal work Warren performed for a company that was fighting a federal mandate to pay additional money into a health care fund for retired coal miners.
Brown said he hadn't seen the video but wouldn't condone the actions.
Brown criticized Warren for hypocrisy saying she's always talking about fighting for the middle class despite having done work for big companies.
A spokeswoman for Warren said the case involved bankruptcy principles and there was never any question miners would receive full benefits.
