Mayor Menino monitors Sandy from hospital

BOSTON (WHDH) -- Mayor Menino was monitoring the storm from the hospital Monday.

The 69-year old came home early from Italy with a cough and swollen feet and was admitted to Brigham and Women's on Friday.

Doctors said he has some sort of virus. Menino's spokesperson said he is doing fine and was participating in decisions regarding the storm.

Menino could be released Monday or Tuesday.
