Adrian Gonzalez...married to Betsy...moved from San Ysidro, CA to Tijuana at the age of one where he lived until he and his family returned to San Diego at the age of 13...batted .559 in his final two seasons at Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, including .645 with 13 home runs his senior year (2000)...subsequently named the CIF Player of the Year and San Diego Union-Tribune Player of the Year...supports the Eastlake High School baseball program and hosts charity events in support of San Diego-area Little Leagues and the South Bay Family YMCA...originally signed by Marlins scout David Finley...opened the Gonzalez Sports Academy along with his brothers Edgar and David.
