Biography 

Was a member of the 1994 AAU National Championship squad...Graduated from Cincinnati's Sycamore High School in 1997...Attended the University of Cincinnati where he was a 2-time All American (2000 and 2001) and earned All- Conference USA honors from 1999-2001...At the end of college career, was the Bearcats all-time leader with 53 homers, 279 runs, 206 walks and a .499 OBP and had the 2nd-highest average at .366...Hit .405 with 18 homers, 61 RBI and 81 runs scored as a senior in 2001...Named to the Conference USA All-Decade team in 2004...Played for Bourne of the Cape Cod League in 2000...Selected to the CCBL All-Star Team as a third baseman.
