UMass Football honors Boston Marathon victims
AMHERST, Mass. (WHDH) -- In Saturday’s spring game, the UMass football team sported jersey that bore the names of the victims of the Boston attacks.
Above their numbers read either, Lu Lingzhi, Krystle Campbell, Martin Richard, Sean Collier or ‘#BostonStrong’.
UMass football head coach Charley Molnar also offered to those who participated in the marathon, the opportunity to run a lap and enjoy a ceremonial finish of the race on the field during halftime.
