Seau's California home burglarized after memorial

OCEANSIDE, Calif. (WHDH) -- Days after former patriots star Junior Seau took his own life his house has been targeted by thieves.
The memorial at Junior Seau's house was massive and the flow of fans has been non-stop. So how did a burglar sneak past all of that in broad daylight, crawl through a doggie-door in the garage and steal a bicycle from Seau's house without anyone noticing?
That's exactly what Oceanside police are trying to figure out.
Nearby neighbors can't believe it.
"I just think it’s horrible someone would even break in to someone's house after a tragedy like that," Terra Ramirez said.
"I've lived here three years just up the beach and I don't really feel like I have to lock my doors or my back door and I never really had a problem," Art Choate said.
Oceanside city workers were reportedly going to maintain the memorial for the foreseeable future, but now everything is gone. In its place: a moving truck.
Movers packed up all of Junior's surfboards and belongings in his garage.
Two of Seau's children were also at their late father's home Tuesday evening. They made several trips, carrying belongings out of the home and into an SUV.
So far, police have not made any arrests in the burglary.
