Germany coach Loew leaves politics to politicians

GDANSK, Poland (AP) -- It's about the Euros, not the euro.

Chancellor Angela Merkel may be Germany's most prominent fan, but she has no say in picking the lineup. Coach Joachim Loew is happy to stay out of politics ahead of a potentially highly charged European Championship quarterfinal showdown with Greece.

Loew said the soccer side is already tough enough and that Germany expects Greece to be an "uncomfortable" opponent.
