Tufts suspends 27 lacrosse players for two games

MEDFORD, Mass. (WHDH) -- Tufts University suspended 27 lacrosse players for two games in this upcoming season.
Administrators said the members of the men's lacrosse team are being punished for acting inappropriately during a women's volleyball game last semester. Apparently they were heckling the players and yelling sexist remarks.
The Tufts lacrosse season begins March 9.
