Tebucky Jones Jr., other teen charged for locker room beatings
NEW BRITAIN, Conn. -- A second Connecticut teenager has been charged with assault and other crimes in connection with a high school locker room beating allegedly involving the son of former pro football star Tebucky Jones.
New Britain police arrested the 17-year-old high school student on Tuesday. His name was not released because of his age.
Tebucky Jones Jr., son of the former New England Patriots player, is charged with assault, strangulation and other crimes in connection with the beating of another student at New Britain High School. He is free on bail and has not entered a plea.
A message was left Friday at a New Britain phone listing in Tebucky Jones' name.
Police say two or three other unidentified teens took part in the assault, which was caught on video taken by a cell phone.
