Bruins hit with flu bug, 7 players miss Tuesday practice

WILMINGTON, Mass. (WHDH) -- The Boston Bruins were hit with the flu bug.

The Boston Bruins tweeted on Tuesday, "7 players - 11, 18, 20, 21, 35, 37, 54 - will miss practice today with flu-like symptoms."

Gregory Campbell, Nathan Horton, Daniel Paille, Patrice Bergeron, Andrew Ference, Adam McQuaid and Anton Khudobin were out for the day.

As of Tuesday there was no decision regarding if any call-ups would be necessary for the road trip to Florida. According to the Boston Bruins on Twitter, Coach Claude Julien was hopeful the players who were absent would recover quickly."
