Bruins looking for offensive spark
BOSTON (WHDH) -- At this point there are more questions than answers with the Boston Bruins.
Since the B’s lost their best all-around player, Patrice Bergeron, Coach Claude Julien shuffled his lines looking for a spark.
With time running out in the regular season, Julien needs to find that spark as soon as possible.
As far as getting back in the goal-scoring groove, Julien waxed philosophical about his team’s struggles.
“You gotta realize what was at stake and what we let slip away, but, you know, frustration is not going to get you pointed in the right direction. I think it’s more, I’d rather see determination versus frustration -- determination and wanting to turn it around and that’s what we’re trying to do here,” said Julien.
“You wanna try to stay positive throughout this little lull here and hopefully just keep things simple and get back to basics and get back to scoring,” said Bruins forward Brad Marchand.
Adam McQuaid is not the guy to jump-start the offense, but the big defenseman was back at practice Sunday for the first time since suffering a strained shoulder last month.
