Bruins fans not worried for Game 2
BOSTON (WHDH) -- Bruins fans weren’t worried about Monday night’s Game 2 versus Pittsburgh.
“I feel great. I feel great, they’ve been playing awesome, they’ve got a nice little run going, scoring some goals. So they’re getting physical, it’s awesome,” said B’s fan, Zachary Nolan.
As the physical aspect of the series heats up, Bruins fans said the Penguin’s Matt Cooke was playing dirty during Game 1.
“I feel like birds don’t really change their colors and Cooke is who he is. I think the Bruins were prepared for that and the league should have taken some action, but the ref called it correctly,” said fan, Dave Kennedy.
Fans grabbed some last minute gear to prepare for game two and everyone is feeling good about it.
“I’ve got faith in my Bruins man, I totally do. They’re going to win, they’re going to go all the way, Stanley Cup all the way,” said one fan.
Many fans said the Penguins’ lack of discipline and their frustration is a big reason Boston is going to take this series.
Game 2 is under way at eight o’clock in Pittsburgh.
