Hawks skate as B's land in Chicago
CHICAGO (WHDH)-- The Bruins arrived in Chicago Tuesday just as the Blackhawks took to the ice for practice.
The Hawks practied perfecting their game before they face off with the Bruins Wednesday night.
Blackhawks right wing Patrick Kane was impressed with the way the B’s handled themselves against the Penguins. He said their team effort on defense was outstanding. He said Zdeno Chara was a strong force behind their defense.
Forward Bryan Bickell agreed.
“He’s a big man, you know, he takes a lot of ice out there, he’s a strong, very strong man and we just need to keep him on the other side and just hopefully wear him down. If I’m going to get a hit I know it’s not going to feel very good, but whatever it takes to win this cup,” said Bickell.
Bickell leads the Hawks in postseason goals scored. Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals will be played Wednesday night in Chicago at eight o’clock.
