Horton faces another Stanley Cup Series injury
BOSTON (WHDH)--Bruins fans feeling a sense of déjà vu, Horton is facing another injury.
Nathan Horton is not only a fan favorite but he is a key player, so the fans are definitely concerned about his latest injury. In the middle of the first overtime, this image of Horton crumbling left Bruins fans worried.
“I’m very concerned.”
“It’s sad to see anybody go off the ice, really is.”
“I thought, gosh again?
In game three of the 2011 Stanley Cup Series Horton took a hard left that left him motionless on the ice. Carted off the ice on a stretcher he was out of the series with a severe concussion. After last night's injury, fans are hoping it's not a series ender.
“I don't know the depth of his injury but if he is able to play he is a seasoned warrior, he will play.”
“He left the locker room but hope that give him a couple of days of rest. Give our guys a couple of days of rest. I think we're going to come back strong.”
Some fans think the team can still win without Horton. Others are more concerned.
“He's a key player with the Bruins. We need him on the ice. I don't think we could win without him.”
