Horton showing no signs of shoulder injury
BOSTON (WHDH)--Surprise, surprise! Number 18 right back on the ice. Nathan Horton not favoring any part of his upper-body and appeared to be practicing without limitation.
“You know, it's great. I love that guy. He’s awesome. He’s a good player. He’s a warrior. It's good to see him out there,” David Krejci said.
“It’s obviously a positive thing that he was able to come out and skate here today. He is going to do everything in his power to play. Obviously he wants to play and hopefully he can play tomorrow,” said Milan Lucic.
Bruins coach, Claude Julien listed his top-line winger just as he did yesterday, but sounded a lot more optimistic after he watched Horton perform in practice.
“He is day-to-day and you know that's what he is. That's why he practiced today. We'll have to make a decision on him tomorrow. But it was encouraging to see him out there today. It if he feels good tomorrow he is lineup, simple as that,” Julien said.
If this was a test Horton certainly passed it. If there was one guy that would know if something is off its David Krejci, who was asked if he was surprised to see Horton's presence and performance .
“I don't know. Yes and no, you know, but I know what kind of guy he is. For him to keep himself off the ice it has to be something really big. I haven't talked to him how he felt after practice but feels great and pretty sure he will play tomorrow so really, excited and looking forward to it,” Krejci said.
So listening to Nathan Horton’s line mates it does sound like he is going to play tomorrow but if he can’t go. The Bruins of course have a plan and the right attitude.
