Boston officer is Celtics' 'hero among us'

BOSTON (WHDH) -- The Boston police officer that made a life-saving leap was honored by the Boston Celtics.

Edward Norton was chosen as the team’s “hero among us” for Friday’s Celtics game.

Norton jumped 20 feet into the cold water on Dec. 21, 2012 when he saw a woman clinging to a small dock yelling for help. He waited with her until a police boat was able to get them.
