UNDATED (WHDH) -- The NFL created a plan in case of a snow emergency during 2014’s super bowl.

The game was scheduled to be played at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey - the first outdoor, cold-weather host for the big game.

Sports Business Daily reported that if a storm was expected on Super Sunday, the league may move the game up one day, to Saturday, February 1.
