LONDON (WHDH) -- The Olympic Games kick off in London in less than two months, and if you're thinking about watching the games live it may actually be cheaper than you think.
The Olympic torch is on its way to London for the Summer Games and travel experts say maybe you should head that way, too.
"There are tickets, there are hotels, and you can even get into the games," Travelocity’s Nina Waldorf said.
Even if you can't or don't want to get into the games, the BBC is setting up big screens for free viewing. And, of course, there's the city itself.
"The great thing about the Olympics being in London is it's not just about the Olympics,” Waldorf said. “When you're there, there is just so much to do."
That's why some travel experts are suggesting the Olympics be just a part of a vacation to England, especially considering hotel prices after the olympics will drop dramatically.

"Go closer to Closing Ceremonies and maybe spend two days in London there and then take the rest of your vacation after the Olympics wrap, you're gonna save," Orbitz Travel’s Marita Hudson Thomas said.
And even just two months out from the games' beginning, there are still bargains.
"I found a package for $1,600 that was six nights, and airfare from New York," Waldorf said.
Another incentive that'll cut costs: transportation to and from Olympic venues is free provided you have a ticket to that game.
