Fun facts about Aly Raisman

NEEDHAM, Mass. (WHDH) -- Before millions were watching Aly Raisman on television, she was a high school student in Needham. But due to her busy training schedule, Aly actually completed her senior year online.

We all know Aly Raisman loves to compete, but there are some things about this Olympian you may not know -- like what kind of music she has on her iPod right now.

“I have all different kinds of music. I like country music, R&B, I like rap, I like hip hop, I like -- I listen to anything it just depends on the mood I’m in,” Raisman said.

She admits to having a small case of Bieber fever.

“I do listen to Justin Beiber,” Raisman said.

We all know gymnasts have to really watch what they eat to keep their bodies in tip-top shape. But what does Aly keep in her refrigerator to stay in Olympic form?

“Milk and yogurt, meat, I eat a lot of healthy food. And I don’t have a lot junk food but every morning for breakfast I have Special K with milk,” Raisman said.

When she’s not at the gym, Aly likes to spend time with her friends or watching a flick.

“My favorite movie is ‘The Notebook,’” Raisman said.

Or thinking about her dream vacation.

“Definitely somewhere tropical like the Bahamas or Fiji or something like that. Anywhere that’s really warm,” Raisman said.

And did you know back in 8th grade Aly was able to predict the future? She was voted most likely to be on ESPN.
